On 6-2-05 at 10:40 AM, Benjamin Miles Keaton, age: 39, from La Jolla, was driving a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT on the inside track at the Fontana Motor Speedway in Fontana with Corey Nicholas Rudl, age: 34, from La Jolla, as a passenger. While traveling westbound on an inside track, the driver apparently lost control, left the north side, careened onto a grass area, collided into a K-rail barrier and caught fire. Emergency personnel immediately responded and quickly extinguished the fire. Mercy Air responded and airlifted Benjamin to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:31 AM. Corey was pronounced dead at the scene. Note: Neither victims sustained burn injuries. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department M.A.I.T. is investigating the incident.

Corey Rudl had been a mentor and inspiration to me for over 7 years ...

It's unbelievable what he managed to accomplish by such a young age ... arguably the most famous of all Internet Marketers.

God rest his soul ... my heart felt condolences to his , and Ben's, loved ones.

TRULY tragic news ...

His Internet Marketing Insiders Course was my first "successful" attempt at affiliate marketing.

HIS influence in the Internet Marketing arena has been remarkable and constant over the years. There is certainly gonna be a bit of a "void" in online marketing in the upcoming years.

I'm still reeling... and near speechless. Blessings on to his Spirit, and my thoughts and prayers will stay with both families... my mind is telling me, "think like Corey, what would he want us to do"... ironic, huh?

He definitely left the world a better place than how he found it. I'm so grateful that he was here to uplift me... us... I'lll carry him forward with me in my heart...

I was stunned to hear the bad news.

His passing will leave a void in the online marketing community.

I personally had never met, spoken with, or corresponded with him in anyway before, but I have read some of his material, and I found many interesting bits in his teachings that I feel should be included in any business plan. It is sad when someone that contributed so much to a particular arena passes on, yet someone always seems to rise who continues to promote their methods, concepts, and hopefully their good ethics as well. I for one will miss his sound advice.

He really was the "king of Web Marketing".
But Good Men dont die. They pass on to a better world, so I think we should all take consolation in that.

Indeed. Gary Halbert is a more recent passer on to the "next stage". God rest both of them. Just goes to show you that with all the importance we put into occupying ourselves with money-making, etc. there are just so many other things we can take for granted, and we shouldn't.

May we all live fully, and live through the full spectrum of what life has to offer.

That's sad news. It's a shame for someone that young and successful to die. Well life goes on for the rest of us and I hope that we will be more fortunate. My condolences to his family and friends.
